Hirzel is a small and beautiful Swiss village high above the lake of Zurich surrounded by easy, rolling countryside.
Situated on a ridge some chilly winds might be blowing in Hirzel, especially at the “Herbschtmärt”, our autumn market, where local farmers and crafters present their products. What’s better than to put on this delightful pair of mitts to keep your hands warm!
These mitts are knit from the cuff up the hand, with the gusset thumb worked at the end, using only 30g of Siide-Fideel, our fingering weight silk-merino mix.
Easy, suitable for advanced beginners.
